The Continuing Education Certificate in Religious Education provides educators with a broad and in-depth exploration of the field. The coursework combines the development of confidence and creativity in working out curricula and gives practice in crafting effective learning processes. Pursuing a Certificate in Religious Education (CRE) provides individuals with a set of multi-disciplinary perspectives and methodologies to enrich their practice while at the same time earning a professional credential from an institution with a long-standing reputation for excellence in education and ministerial formation. This program is offered both on-campus and online.
On-campus classes are available pending enrollment.
This program is also offered for graduate credit.

Alloys Nyakundi, MPS student, came from Kenya to study at the Institute for Ministry in New Orleans because of his passion for leading and promoting Youth Small Christian Communities, or YSCCs. In a recent trio of publications, he shares that insight as it has been informed by his experiences and his studies.
Lorraine Hess
Alumna Lorraine Hess presented a workshop titled 鈥淓ucharistic Adoration: A Communal Invitation to Mission鈥 with Fr. Rick Hilgartner at the 2018 convention of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians. A podcast of the presentation is now available. In it, they offer suggestions regarding how worshiping communities might enhance their members鈥 experience of Adoration.
